Andrii Zviagin is an Ukrainian commercial lawyer with experience across agriculture, commodity trading, shipping and IT sectors. Mr. Zviagin specializes in international trade, GAFTA and FOSFA arbitrations, launch of IT startups and fundraising.
He has 10 years of legal experience working on international trade and arbitration matters. He worked as in-house legal counsel in grain trading division of Ukrainian large agricultural company and as an associate in big Ukrainian law firms. Throughout his work he helped with termination of contracts and exemption from contractual obligations, compensation of damages, acted at pre-trial settlement of disputes and in international arbitrations.
As a recent Y Combinator’s Startup School graduate Mr. Zviagin also provides legal services to Ukrainian startups and investors. He advises Ukrainian technology companies on cross-border transactions and domestic matters, providing general commercial, intellectual property, IT and data privacy advice. He works closely with Ukrainian founders, connects them with entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, guides them through launching and fundraising, protecting intellectual assets, retaining talent, securing and monetizing data.
Outside of work, Andrii’s great passion is gardening.
